How TB-500 Works

Thymosin beta-4 is a 43-amino-acid peptide found in nearly every human cell. TB-500 is a shorter synthetic fragment built around the region that binds actin — the protein cells use to build their internal scaffolding — so most research looks at cell migration. A licensed provider reviews your health history and decides whether it is appropriate for you.

Key Benefits

  • Built around the actin-binding region of natural thymosin beta-4
  • Thymosin beta-4 is found in nearly every human cell and concentrated in platelets
  • Studied in laboratory research on cell migration and actin regulation
  • Human trials studied the full-length parent peptide, not this fragment
  • Compounded by a licensed U.S. pharmacy for your prescription
  • Prescribed only after a licensed provider reviews your health history

Ideal For

  • Adults with questions about TB-500 for a provider
  • Patients comparing TB-500 with BPC-157
  • Anyone whose provider confirms it fits their health history

Delivery Method

Subcutaneous injection — a small needle into the fatty tissue beneath the skin, given at home with step-by-step guidance and education. Sterile syringes and alcohol prep pads ship with every order — no clinic visits required.

How we work

Real Pharmacy Medication —
Not Gray-Market Peptides

Your TB-500 is a real prescription, made by a licensed pharmacy after provider approval, unlike untested online peptides.

Compounded By A Licensed U.S. Pharmacy

Every order is prepared for you individually by a state-licensed compounding pharmacy under a valid prescription — and those pharmacies operate under the oversight of state boards of pharmacy.

Made To USP Sterility Standards

Our injectables are compounded to USP <797> — the national standard for sterile preparations that helps protect against contamination, sub-potency, and dosing errors.

Tested For Identity, Strength & Purity

Each batch is verified against established USP quality standards, and we can provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA) on request — so you know exactly what is in the vial.

A Real Provider Behind Every Vial

A licensed provider examines your health history and prescribes medication. The FDA has acted against sellers promoting peptides as 'research use only'.

TB-500 — Common Questions

Everything you need to know before getting started

TB-500 is a synthetic peptide fragment of thymosin beta-4, a 43-amino-acid peptide found in nearly every human cell. The fragment is built around the region that binds actin — the protein cells use to build their internal scaffolding — so most research on it looks at how cells move. Nearly all of that research is in animals and cells.

Thymosin beta-4 is the full-length natural peptide, and the human trials that exist studied that full-length form — not TB-500. TB-500 is a shorter synthetic fragment, and published research on the fragment itself is almost entirely in animals and cells.

No. Compounded TB-500 is not an FDA-approved drug product. In October 2026 HHS announced an interim policy under which FDA does not intend to take enforcement action against pharmacies compounding single-ingredient BPC-157, TB-500 or MOTS-C under specific conditions — that is not FDA approval. Yours is compounded by a state-licensed U.S. pharmacy for your individual prescription, and only after a licensed provider reviews your health history and decides it is appropriate for you.

TB-500 (3 mg/mL) is sold as a 1-month plan (5 mL, $219 one-time or $186.15 with auto-refill) or a 2-month plan (2 × 5 mL, $349 one-time or $296.65 with auto-refill) — the 2-month plan saves $89 vs. two 1-month orders. That is what ships and what you pay — your provider sets your dose when they write the prescription, so how long a plan lasts depends on the dose they prescribe. Auto-refill is optional, takes 15% off either plan and cancels anytime; free syringes, alcohol prep pads and cold-chain shipping are included on both.

They are different molecules. TB-500 is a fragment of thymosin beta-4, an actin-binding peptide; BPC-157 is a fragment of a protein found in gastric juice. They have not been compared head to head in people. Each is prescribed and sold as its own single-ingredient medication, and whether either is appropriate for you is your provider's decision.

We don't promise specific results or a timeline. Compounded TB-500 is not FDA-approved, most published research on it is in animals and cells, and how people respond varies. Your licensed provider talks through realistic expectations for your health history and sets your dose and schedule when they write your prescription.

Human data on TB-500 is limited, so its side-effect profile in people is not well characterized. Reported reactions are usually mild — redness or irritation at the injection site, headache, tiredness or lightheadedness. As with any injectable, an allergic reaction is possible. Tell your provider about every medication you take, and message your care team if anything doesn't feel right.

Because research on thymosin beta-4 involves cell migration and new blood-vessel formation, TB-500 is generally not prescribed for anyone with active cancer or a history of cancer. It is also not used during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or by anyone allergic to any component of the formulation. Your provider reviews your full health history during intake and won't prescribe it if it isn't appropriate for you.

No — there's no need to come into a clinic. It is given at home with a small, short needle into fatty tissue, and every order ships with sterile syringes and alcohol prep pads, along with step-by-step guidance. Your care team is a message away if you want a walkthrough.
